I'm back to my old department. But i joined a new team. its a project team. My third 'deployment' in the past few months. And this time, i get to play a more difficult role. the role of a designer. Not an easy task, luckily, since they recognize my young age in the company, i get the easy ones.. hopefully, i get the job done correctly and on time.

if not, how else is  the accused be charged in court? or maybe the charge sheet might be another lingam.. " he might or might not have screwed the victim via the anus on the said date"

had a talk with the wife yesterday.

Made me realize that i've lost confidence in myself to carry on what i believe in. I'm not even sure if i can achieve or sustain what ever that i have achieved.

since the fuel hike started. i decided to try a few after market products that supposedly improves the fuel consumption of my car. I'm driving a proton gen2 that is already pushing 100k, i've changed the belts, and also the fuel pump, the car is running well, with no major problems. so far. ( no issues with gearbox unlike the other famous car being condemned by  a certain CM from a certain state somewhere near the south china sea..)

Now, my Gen -2 can be considered  the first generation version... it comes with the campro with no campro. ( if anyone remembers, campro meant cam profile switching, but the first gen was basically a decent 1.6 litre dohc engine) and there is a dip in the torque curve somewhere in the middle.

Now. im not going to compete against paul tan. he knows his shit inside out. No. im going to talk about what i did to save some money.

First, i change the spark plugs. instead of the standard ones, im using  iridium spark plugs. Now. these babies are expensive.it came to 200 bucks for 4, compared to less then 20 bucks for the normal ones. but. it can last betweem 50k to 70 km's as compared to the normal ones that usually get replaced every 10k.

how good is this? well, i remember when i got this installed, i had to go back hometown for the weekend. we pushed off saturday morning. at 4 am.  Usually, in the mornings, its damn nice to speed, but before this, if i whack and mantain 140km/h on the 'B roads' ( kampung roads) , i would usually reach manjung with the needle pushing empty ( from a 3/4 mark) This time, with the speed consistently at 140 for 80% of the journey, i had still slightly more than a quarter tank. i only filled up, on my trip back.

:) immediate fuel savings. Yesterday, i did a full tank and i got a readout of around 423kms on a full tank.  i think its not too bad considering im doing a lot of city driving.

Yesterday i decided to try out that nanotech fuel enhancer that i got. the test is on going now, but preliminary findings shows that its quite promising. i've already clocked 70kms with 380kms left in the tank.and one bottle should last me about one month.

im writing this because, my uncle bought a saga, and thats on the 1.3 with that iafm which improves the torque curve for the engine. now he gets between 400 to 500 on a full tank and its tank capacity is the same. ( 40 litres)

So, by changing one item, and using a fuel enhancer, im getting  about the same mileage  as  a 1.3 but still mantaining the (increased) power of the 1.6

well thats the statement i get from nik aziz, via star news alert.

that statement is a sure fire thing to ensure that the merger doesnt happen. something that if im not mistaken, he strongly oppose in the first place.
